The What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) is an investment of the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) within the U.S. Department of Education that was established in 2002.
WWC reviews the existing research on different programs, products, practices, and policies in education to provide educators and practitioners with the information they need to make evidence-based decisions. WWC’s products include intervention reports, single study reviews, quick reviews, and practice guides – and focus on the results from high-quality research to answer the question “What works in education?”
