Through our Responsive Grantmaking Program, support is available for whole-family approaches through:
Capacity Building Grants
Capacity Building Grants provide support for internal infrastructure and outside expertise to build impactful, efficient, and effective programs and services. Supported areas include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic or communications planning
- Board development or succession planning
- Development & fundraising planning
- Network and IT planning & implementation
- Fundraising consulting
- Consultant expenses
Please note: Capacity Building grants cannot be used for expansion of program capacity, staff salaries or indirect/overhead costs.
Program Grants provide support for direct costs associated with programs, services, and interventions. Supported projects include, but are not limited to, staff salaries and program expenses.
General Operating Grants
General Operating Grants provide support for the day-to-day costs of running an organization. Organizations applying for operating support must have an annual operating budget of less than $2 million and have either a current board-approved strategic plan or business plan at the time of application.
