Communication Guidelines

To help our grantee partners communicate about their grants, we’ve developed a set of guidelines.

Acknowledging the Foundation

While your organization should be the focus of your communications, there may be instances where you would like to add a description of your funders. The following language should be used when referring to the Foundation:

Materials should list the Foundation’s full legal name:
William J. and Dorothy K. O’Neill Foundation

To describe the Foundation further, please use the following paragraph:

“The William J. and Dorothy K. O’Neill Foundation is a private family foundation that exists to engage all generations of O’Neill family members through philanthropy. The Foundation is committed to strengthening families and improving communities in which O’Neill family members live and are engaged in the work of the Foundation.”

Press Releases

If you plan to issue a press release that will mention the Foundation, please email Marlene Corrado to ensure you have the most accurate and current information about the Foundation.

We use social media to promote our grantee partners’ work and share information.

Help us showcase your milestones by tagging us on social media or emailing high-resolution photos (at least 300 dpi) and pertinent information along with the photo credit to Marlene Corrado. For content not already posted to social media, please complete and attach this release form.

Downloading and Using Our Logo

Grantee partners are encouraged to use our logo in materials related to the grant-funded project. Download our logo in PNG or JPG formats.

Reporting Requirements

Reporting requirements will be sent approximately one month before the grant period ends. A confirmation email will be sent to the primary contact once the grant report is received.
